Douglas Firs are the most common trees at our park and are evergreens meaning green year-round. It has a dark grey bark, needles grow in short green bunches. They are also one of the most used timbers for construction and most wood products due to their strength and durabilty.

Western Larch are found throughout the park and commonly look like snags in the winter. They are deciduous trees, so they lose all their needles in the winter. The branches tend to droop down and have light-green needles.
